Violet Cenedella joined Slarskey LLC as a paralegal in 2025, and assists attorneys with electronic discovery, fact development, and legal research.

Before joining Slarskey, Ms. Cenedella worked in human rights, refugee advocacy, and child protection. At the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Ms. Cenedella was a part of the Child Victim Identification Program, where she investigated cases of child sexual abuse material to identify victims. Her investigative work led to the successful identification of numerous child victims across the country and internationally. Ms. Cenedella has also worked in humanitarian relief, focusing on child protection and safeguarding vulnerable populations in Greek refugee camps. She was the recipient of the Burnam Fellowship from Vassar College for her design and facilitation of child protection and development programs for unaccompanied minor refugees.

Ms. Cenedella is a graduate of Columbia University, where she received her degree in Human Rights, and studied at Columbia’s Graduate Institute for the Study of Human Rights (ISHR). Her research and writing on forced migration and international human rights law has been featured by the Consortium of Forced Migration, Displacement & Education; Roosevelt Institute's Human Rights Policy Center, and in the Council of European Studies Journal.
