
Phil Gasperetti has experience representing institutional clients in complex commercial litigation, white-collar defense, and adversarial bankruptcy matters. He has drafted motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, motions in limine, expert reports, and appellate briefs, and has taken and defended depositions and assisted with trial and appellate oral arguments.
Phil has also led discovery conferences, managed discovery protocols, and conducted legal research to advise senior attorneys and risk committees on litigation strategy, theories of recovery, and affirmative defenses.
Prior to joining Slarskey LLC, Phil was an associate at Milbank LLP in New York, where he was recognized with the firm's Pro Bono Award four consecutive years for outstanding pro bono work. Prior to attending law school, Phil worked as a paralegal at a healthcare law firm and as a middle school science teacher in Washington, D.C.
Phil earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He received his B.S. in Neuroscience, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
