Recent pro bono cases include:
- successfully representing two individuals separately appealing their erroneous inclusion on the New York State Central Registry that records individuals accused of child abuse and/or neglect;
- representing a young immigrant whose family members were murdered due to political opposition in their native Guinea in his application for permanent residency in the United States based on special immigrant juvenile status; and
- representing a New York City resident in his claim against Con Edison for failing to ensure effective repairs to his home during winter months, resulting in limited heat or hot water for an entire winter.
