Christine M. Rodriguez is an experienced commercial litigator who has successfully led representations of companies and individuals in a wide range of high-stakes commercial disputes.
Ms. Rodriguez has extensive experience representing public and private entities in disputes against consultants and software vendors related to failed implementations of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. She was a key member of the team representing The Lubrizol Corporation, a global specialty chemicals company, in an action against International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) arising from an implementation of SAP S/4 HANA. Ms. Rodriguez also represented utility company National Grid in actions stemming from a failed implementation of SAP software, and Certified Collectibles Group in an action against Globant LLC stemming from an implementation of custom ERP software.
Ms. Rodriguez also has notable experience representing and advising plaintiffs and defendants, including real estate developers, financial services and private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals, among others, in complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, and business torts in federal and state courts across the country, as well as before various arbitration tribunals. Among her recent matters, she successfully represented Alaskan Reefer Management and Kloosterboer International Forwarding, shippers of Alaskan seafood, in a dispute related to penalties assessed by the U.S. government for alleged violations of the Jones Act; and secured dismissal of a federal lawsuit brought by more than 200 individual timeshare interest holders against The Manhattan Club, a luxury timeshare property in midtown Manhattan.
Prior to joining Slarskey LLC, Ms. Rodriguez was a partner at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP and served as principal law clerk to the Honorable Barbara R. Kapnick in the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department, and the New York County Commercial Division. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
In 2020, Ms. Rodriguez was recognized as a "Latino Lawyer to Keep on the Watch" by Latino Leaders Magazine. She is committed to mentoring Latino and other historically underrepresented students at her alma mater, Brooklyn Law School.
