Our team has pioneered innovative legal theories, and developed a successful track record for recovering underpaid royalties on behalf of textbook authors.

Our first effort was in 2018, when we successfully represented authors against Cengage Learning, challenging Cengage's digital distribution program, Cengage Unlimited. Since then, we have represented authors with royalty claims against Cengage, McGraw Hill, and Pearson.

Our efforts on behalf of author clients have been recognized by the largest trade association for textbook authors, the Textbook & Academic Authors Association. This month, the TAA gave us top-billing in its Spring 2021 newsletter, the to demystify the class action process for authors looking out on a landscape exploding with litigation against the biggest publishers.

We're not done yet, and we love hearing from authors, with big claims and with small.
